after their amazing performance at the ottawa bluesfest this past weekend, i'm in all kinds of love w/ them. i love how jack white kind of looks like a jack-o-lantern in tight, red satin pants. i love that they celebrated their 10th anniversary in a two-husky town up north. and i love how meg and jack insist on referring to each other as brother and sister (as they did during the show last sunday), even though by now we all know they're, um, divorced or cousins or something... to the stripes!

I heard they weren't all that fantastic at Bluesfest. Well, let me rephrase. I heard that they were alright but that their sound stuff wasn't uber fantastico.
And don't diss them for being family. They give me hope that my brother and I could rock out one day as the.. French stripes, or something.
In full defence of the wonder that is, you can call them overrated until you see the show. And no man who can pull off satin pants like Jack is overrated.
I'm afraid I will have to miss that show. No one (man or woman) should ever (ever!) wear satin pants. Ever!
